Request a Stone AssessmentRestore the finish that fits your stone and your space
Natural stone changes with use. Grit can wear down a floor, spills can leave stains or etching, and shower or patio surfaces can collect residue. All Stone Pro assesses the material, finish, location and cause of the problem before recommending a treatment. Cleaning, honing, polishing, localized repairs and sealing each solve different issues; the right scope depends on the surface in front of us.
We work on interior and exterior stone, including marble, travertine, granite and quartzite. Engineered quartz is a different material, but we can also assess chips and cracks in quartz countertops. Send us photos of the full area and close-ups of the damage so we can discuss the next step.

Request a Stone AssessmentHow we approach stone restoration
1. Assess the surface
We identify the stone, its current finish, previous treatments and the cause of the visible damage. An etched surface, embedded soil and a stain can look similar but call for different work.
2. Match the treatment
We recommend cleaning for soil and residue, honing for suitable scratches or etching, polishing for the desired sheen, and localized repair for chips or cracks. We explain likely results and limitations before work begins.
3. Protect where appropriate
After cleaning and drying, a suitable sealer may help slow the absorption of spills. Sealing is not stain proof and does not prevent acid etching, so we recommend it based on the material and setting.
4. Plan ongoing care
We can suggest a care routine for the finish, from removing grit and wiping spills promptly to using a cleaner intended for that natural stone. Outdoor and wet areas also need attention to traction and drainage.
Natural stone care across the Phoenix area
Our core service area includes North Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Carefree, Cave Creek and nearby communities. We consider select projects elsewhere in the greater Phoenix area. Tell us your location and the type of stone when you request an assessment, or view our service areas.
Natural stone restoration FAQs
Can cleaning remove etching or scratches?
Cleaning removes suitable soil and residue. If the stone itself is etched or scratched, honing or polishing may be needed to improve the finish. We assess the depth of the damage first.
Do all stone surfaces need sealing?
No. The need for sealing depends on the stone, its finish and how it is used. A sealer may help with stain resistance, but it does not prevent acidic spills from etching marble or travertine.
Can a chip repair be invisible?
We aim to blend a repair with the surrounding color and pattern, but material, lighting and the size of the chip affect how visible it remains. We discuss the likely appearance before proceeding.
What should I send for an estimate?
Share your location, the approximate size of the area, a photo of the entire surface and close-ups of the problem. Let us know whether your priority is cleaning, a different finish, a repair or help with staining.
